Whilst we have contractors on site, they are checking further high level gutters to ensure they are running clear. Blocked gutters and downpipes are a common cause of dampness and water ingress. Much easier to maintain then fix, so good to kept on top of a regular work programme.  

Following the recent bad weather, one tenant has had some water ingress to their shop. The likely cause being a build-up of moss to the high level valley gutter. Contractors have been up and cleared the debris. We will now monitor the situation.

Even in a difficult market tenants can be found for the right property. A new letting has been completed on some first floor offices in Dunstable. A training centre for numerous activities including self-defence. We wish them all the best in the new year.

Another chance to help out our friends at Cheltenham Roundtable. This time we were out with Santa’s float spreading festive joy and raising money for some excellent local causes.

The lights are now up. The display is not covering the whole precinct this year and will be extended next year. We have the lights, but the additional work for the first year made it prohibitive. The new display has now been delivered and erection works commencing. Being a whole new system, this year will involve some additional prep to be completed first and then the lights will be going up.  

After a disappointing display last year, we are starting earlier for the 2019 Cornhill Christmas lights. We have gone for a more robust heavy duty display. These should make the display easier to put on each year and more sustainable.

We try and work a bit with local charities when time allows. This weekend has seen us at Cheltenham Racecourse, supporting Cheltenham Roundtable putting on one of the primary fireworks displays in the South West. Plenty of money raised for good causes.

Works now completed and roof and render looking good. Scaffold coming down in the next couple of days.

After a promising start, inclement weather has brought work to a halt for a few days. With brighter weather expected, we are hoping works should be wrapped up by the end of the week.
